Pay MIACE is the owner of Standish Dog
Agility.
“I have worked with dogs for many years in a variety
of roles, including Hearing Dogs for Deaf People as a puppy trainer,
RSPCA and boarding kennels. I know how to carry out dog assessments,
teach puppy socialisation and hold dog training classes.”
Jo is a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor,
a qualified Agility Instructor, has
qualified as an Associate Member of the Animal Care College,
covering dog assessment, training methods and problem solving, passed the First Aid For
Pet Owners certificate, trained on the Beat the Bark workshop with
Talking Dogs & Pam McKinnon.
Jo has completed the Higher Certificate of
Cynology achieving a distinction and is now a member of the
Institute of Animal
Care and Education.
Jo has also recently completed a John
Rogerson seminar covering dog/owner relationships, choosing
your puppy, communication with your dog, advanced training and role of
the dog training instructor.
“My training and learning is always ongoing, as is
that of my staff. We often have students come to us for practical and
work experience. We regularly attend seminars and training courses,
making our training methods modern and innovative, striving to provide a
